About Bob: 
I have been a digital news producer for Cox Media Group since 2016. Previously, I was a sports copy editor at The Tampa (Fla.) Tribune from 1988 to 2015, and a digital news producer at TBO.com from 2015 to 2016.  Before that I worked as a sportswriter and then became assistant sports editor at The Stuart (Fla.) News, where I worked from 1980 to 1988. While in Stuart, I won 12 awards in Florida Sports Writers Association contests in writing and design. I am a past president of the Florida Sports Writers Association (1989-90). A 1979 graduate of the University of Florida, I earned a bachelor's degree in journalism and minored in history. In 2018 I received a master's degree in American history from Southern New Hampshire University.
